Human Fusball

Because of all the rain.....:( our Car Wash had to be postponed:( We had to do an activity inside.....human fusball of course. The kids had a blast!

Cards and posters

While the Laurels were planting pots:) The Beehives were busy inside making Mother's Day cards for their Moms... and the Miamaids were making posters for the upcoming car wash!

garden in a pot

One of our May activities in the Laurel's class....was to plant a "salad" in a pot. Each of the girls brought a pot from home and we filled with dirt and seeds that would make a salad. Afterwards....we all went over to the Bott's so the girls could have a mini fashion show for the upcoming school dance:)

EFY

A donut breakfast and off to a Saturdays EFY! Love those fun speakers. I think the favorite was the last speaker....who spoke about dating.

New Beginnings

We chose to have our New Beginnings later in the year this year. We have only two girls coming in...one in April (Audrey Herman), and one in August (Brooke Smith). Welcome you two cute girls!!!! We had a special tea party with our mothers. We dressed up with fancy hats and ate beautiful tiny cakes and beautiful nests with jelly beans, choc dipped strawberries-hats off to Kim and Vicki!!!! Our guest speaker, Lori Nawyn spoke about blooming where we are planted, and shared experiences from her own life! Thank you to all who participated-we couldn't have done it without you!!!!!!

Sock Hockey

We learned a new game:) Tennis balls in tube socks....hitting larger balls-playing soccer. Girls had a blast! Leaders got worn out:)

Service Project at the Hope Crisis Center

Our Young Men and Young Women, went to the Hope Crisis Center to help with some spring cleaning in the yard. The youth learned about the center and how they help mothers and children in abused situations.
