Mud Puddle Party
Laurels and Miamaids had a mud puddle party! We came in our raincoats and umbrellas... and enjoyed an evening dipping yummy goodies into a chocolate fountain and melted carmel and some italian bread in some tomato cheese fondue! We also modeled Jillie Willie aprons for Jill Grover in the Mountain View Ward!!!!

Joint YMYW: Primary Carnival
Our Bishop suggested that our Young Men and Young Women try to do a year of service this year (starting now)! Our challenge is to come up with as many different kinds of service that we can:) We Started the school year out with making a carnival for the 10th and 16th ward primarys. Our youth came up with all the games to play. We had a cake walk, donuts on a rope, plinko, a ring toss, and a fishing hole. The Bishop also volunteered to be a victum and let the children throw shaving cream filled sponges at him:) We finished up with cotton candy and lots of little goodies at the end!

Hey Ladies!
These are my final words to you before I leave and go start the adventure of my life which I like to call collage. You are all beautiful daughters of our heavenly father please never forget that. There will be times in life when you think you aren't good enough or pretty enough but let me tell you something you are always pretty enough and good enough. Remember mostest are the hottest. Dress modestly please remember the (triple L) LLL. Never ever lower your standards to fit in because that is never good. Don't change who you are or what you believe to make it so you can fit with the popular crowd or get the hottest boy in school. Remember who you are and what you stand for. I have heard that a lot lately and you know what I know that you have to stick to what you know and believe in because once you stop you may never find your way back. Take seminary even if you don't want to it will bless your life some seminary teachers suck I know and I have had them but just remember you are learning more about your heavenly father. I know your heavenly father is there for you and always will be. He is there when you feel all alone and feel like the whole world walked out on you but he never will I promise you that. Stay true to you and what you believe in. Now as I go off to collage I just want all of you to know how much I love you and appreciate all you have done for me. Life is tough but god brought you to it he will bring you through it. Be a light and example to everyone you meet, you never know when you will change someones life for the better. I love each of you, you all have blessed my life in many ways thank you for that! Thank you to all the leaders that I have had for never giving up on me even when I wanted to quit. Your going to make mistakes but thats ok just remember to go to your heavenly father he will always help you out. When your tired of standing kneel. Lastly but most importantly Follow your heart and dreams always they are never out of reach! Have a wonderful school year ladies. Your Amazing!
Smile forever and always,
Jill Dallon
